The Committee made major contributions to ISOAEC/JTCl/SC23 for the development of 130 mm WORM Optical Disk Cartridges USOIIEC 9171) and of 130 mm Rewritable Optical Disk Cartridges using the Magneto-Optical effect. (ISOIIEC 10089). ECMA produced the camera-ready cop
5、ies for these International Standards. In addition, ECMA published the following Standards: ECMA-130 ECMA-154 The former has been adopted by ISOAEC as International Standard ISOIIEC 10149. ECMA-154 has been adopted as International Standard ISOAEC 10090. Whilst the optical disk cartridge according t
6、o Standard ECMA-154 contains a disk, which can be either fully pre-recorded, i.e. the data are embossed in the disk, or fully rewritable or may contain zones of either type, the present Standard ECMA-153 specifies an optical disk cartridge of a larger dimension (1 30 mm instead of 90 mm) which, like
7、 that of ISOIIEC 9171, is of the write-once-read-multiple type (WORM). The disk used for this purpose is that specified in ISOAEC 10089 which is different from that specified in ISOAEC 9171. ECMA-153 has been adopted by ISOAEC as International Standard ISOIIEC 11560. Data Interchange on Read-only 12
