National foreword This document (EN 14363:2016) has been prepared by Technical Committee CEN/TC 256 “Railway applications” (Secretariat: DIN, Germany). The responsible German body involved in
6、 its preparation was DIN-Normenausschuss Fahrweg und Schienenfahrzeuge (DIN Standards Committee Railway), Working Committee NA 087-00-02-02 UA Fahrtechnik. This standard is based on the English reference version. Amendments This standard differs from DIN EN 14363:2005-10, DIN EN 15686:2010-11 and DI
7、N EN 15687:2010-11 as follows: a) definitions of running gear masses have been included for clarification; b) the definition of “empty” and “loaded” vehicle status has been included with reference to EN 15663; c) the definition of test tracks for testing of safety against derailment in twisted track
8、 has been refined; d) the bogie test twist for method 3 testing has been reduced from 7 0/00to 6,67 0/00; e) high speed trains are now to be tested for different combinations of speeds and cant deficiencies to cover the behaviour under different track quality levels; f) stability testing is now hand
9、led as a separate “test zone”; g) test zone 2a formerly dealt with in EN 15686 is no longer to be evaluated; h) the minimum number of track sections for test zone 3 has been reduced to 25; i) it has been clarified that track sections in curves are restricted to full curve sections; j) a new achievab
10、le specification of target test conditions related to geometric track quality (consistent with EN 13848-6) replaces the requirements for QN1 and QN2, that were often not achievable; k) on-track tests have been reduced to testing in one rail inclination. Therefore, representative wheel profiles need
11、to be used and extreme low equivalent conicities need to be included in the evaluation. High conicities need to be included in the stability proof; l) the target values for equivalent conicity values for stability assessment have been slightly modified. They are related to the target system of lines
12、 compliant with TSI INF. For other lines national rules may require higher values; m) the recalculation of (Y/Q)aresults has been introduced; n) the normalization of Yqstresults has been introduced; DIN EN 14363:2016-10 3 o) new track loading parameters Ymax, Bqst, Bmax, and Tqstto be documented wit
13、hout limiting values have been introduced; p) quantities Yqst, Yqst, Y/Qqst, Hqst, Qqstand Qqstfor plausibility checks on instrumented wheelsets have been introduced; q) the evaluation of quasi-static quantities is now done at 1,0 Iadm. The new Annex I shows the “Position of the different wheelsets
14、during testing”; r) multiple regression as an option for the evaluation of test results has been introduced; s) the combined test twist (superimposition of bogie and vehicle test twist) of method 2 testing of safety against derailment in twisted track has been corrected to exclude roll moments from
15、the results of wheel unloading; t) a specification for measurements of the torsional coefficient has been included; u) displacement characteristics have been made consistent with EN 15273; v) the assessment of running safety in curved crossings from UIC 510-2 has been introduced with some practical
16、extensions; w) a specification for testing of behaviour in switches and crossings has been introduced as an (informative) option; x) an informative “operational envelope” for combinations of speed and cant deficiency has been introduced. It replaces the operational requirements with fixed cant defic
17、iencies. A note indicates that minimum requirements exist in many networks as operational rules; y) examples for the instrumentation of vehicles with instrumented wheelsets have been included; z) the limiting values for ride characteristics have been replaced by non-mandatory typical values for maxi
18、mum accelerations of different vehicle categories for assessment; aa) reporting of track geometric quality in wavelength range D2 is now required for speeds 160 km/h; bb) details of rail profile measurements and the evaluation of the equivalent conicity have been specified.
