3、red imperial thicknesses, this1979 edition has been prepared to specify the washer thicknesses in metric units. Reasonable thickness tolerances are specified to cover a broad band of the sheet tolerances available. Imperial thickness materials may still be used if the overall tolerances are maintain

4、ed. Amendment No.1 (AMD1184) to the1970 edition, which specified dimensions of oversizes, has been incorporated. A British Standard does not purport to include all the necessary provisions of a contract. Users of British Standards are responsible for their correct application. Compliance with a Brit

12、faces. 6. Washers may be rejected at any time for faults in, or revealed by, manufacture, although they may have previously been passed for chemical composition and mechanical properties. 7. Example of call-up: BSSP148B is a632 aluminium alloy washer0.8mm thick, standard size. BS SP148BY is a632 alu

13、minium alloy washer0.8mm thick, oversize. 8.
