Properties3.1 Vapor-degreasing solvents based on stabilized normal-propyl bromide shall conform to the requirements p

10、rescribed inTable 1. The metal corrosion tests described in Test MethodD2251 (test at reflux temperature only) shall be performed withaluminum (Al 1100). It is recommended, but not a requirementof this specification, that this test also be carried out by the enduser on all metal alloys expected to c

11、ontact the solvent duringthe intended storage and use.3.2 Blends and azeotropic mixtures of stabilized nPB withother materials for use in vapor degreasing shall be preparedfrom technical-grade nPB which conforms to the requirementsprescribed in Table 2.4. Packaging4.1 Industrial or commercial quanti

12、ties shall be packagedand labeled in accordance with DOT regulations as found in 49CFR 100 to 199 and state and local regulations, and withOSHA Regulations found in 29 CFR 1910.1200.1This specification is under the jurisdiction of ASTM Committee D26 onHalogenated Organic Solvents and Fire Extinguish
