Scope*1.1 This specification covers packag
3、ed dry, hydraulic ce-ment grout (nonshrink) intended for use under applied load(such as to support a structure, a machine, and the like) wherea change in height below initial placement height is to beavoided.1.2 Grouts covered are composed of hydraulic cement, fineaggregate, and other ingredients. 4、hey require only the addi-tion of mixing water for use.1.3 The values stated in either SI units or inch-pound unitsshall be regarded separately as standard. The values stated ineach system are not exact equivalents; therefore, each systemshall be used independently of the other. Combining valuesfrom

Ordering Information4.1 When the purchaser specifies that properties of thepackaged, dry grout meet the requirements of this specification,also specify which, if any, of the optional requirements apply.4.2 When the grout is to be used in contact with stressedtendons or other corrosi

16、ed States.relevant chloride, nitrite, nitrate, sulfide, and sulfate require-ments, and any other material limitations imposed by theapplicable codes and standards (Note 1).4.3 When the grout is to be used in abnormal or aggressiveenvironments, the purchaser shall supply this information tothe manufa
17、cturer and obtain assurance that the grout has asuccessful history of performance in the same or similarexposures.NOTE 1Since all conditions of use cannot be anticipated, this speci-fication requires nonshrink grout to exhibit no shrinkage when tested in alaboratory-controlled, moist-cured environme
18、nt, and requires only thereporting of the observed height change, usually shrinkage, when testspecimens are subjected to some degree of drying. It is suggested thatusers consult with manufacturers on specific applications to determine theapplicability of specific test results.5. Materials5.1 The mat
19、erials used as ingredients in packaged, dry,grout include hydraulic cement, fine aggregate, and otheringredients.6. Performance Requirements6.1 Specimens shall be made from freshly mixed grout andfrom grout that has been retained in the mixer for the maximumusable working time allowed by the manufac
20、turer. Specimensfrom both conditions shall meet the requirements prescribed inTable 1.6.2 Specimens shall be prepared using materials and equip-ment at temperatures representing the maximum and minimumusable temperatures specified by the manufacturer for hisproduct. Specimens from both conditions sh
21、all meet therequirements prescribed in Table 1, except that thecompressive-strength requirements do not have to be met atminimum usable temperature.6.3 Specimens for testing shall be prepared by combiningthe use of grout retained in the mixer as in 6.1 with theminimum and maximum as mixed and curing
22、 temperaturesused in 6.2. Specimens from these combinations of conditionsshall meet the requirements of Table 1, except that thecompressive-strength requirements do not have to be met atminimum usable temperature.6.4 All test specimens for performance evaluation shall beprepared using the highest wa
23、ter to solids ratio suggested bythe manufacturer for his product.7. Sampling7.1 Use whole packages of grout selected at random fromthe lot of grout to be examined.7.2 Where lesser quantities of grout will serve the purpose,select 3000 g 7 lb of dry grout from a whole package inaccordance with the me
24、chanical-splitter method in PracticeC 702. For high-density grouts, adjust the mass to provide anequivalent volume.8. Batching8.1 Grout mixtures shall be produced in the followingconditions:8.1.1 Batch grout mixtures at temperature conditions corre-sponding to the maximum recommended temperature lim
