Agencies of the Department of Defense. 1. SCOPE 1.1 Scrim. This specifi

2、cation covers commercial lowbed semitrailers. Each vehicle procured under this specification is a commercial item which shall be warranted by the manufacturer as specified in acquisition documents. - 1.2 Classification The semitrailer shall be one of the following types, classes, sizes, and styles,

The platform shall be floored with apitong, white or red oak, or white ash of 2-114 inch uniform thickness as specified in MIL-W

The average weight of apitong used shall be not less than 50 pounds per cubic foot (pcf), with none of the individual pieces weighing less than 47 pcf, with no more than 15 percent moisture content at time of weighing. Flooring shall be laid lengthwise, as close together as practicable,
