16、hor: CDEWG 1.1.2 PROCEDURES General AECMA activities in the field of Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) are organized in 3 levels of responsibility, respectively CTI, CDEWG and Subgroups. It is emphasized here that the members of all Commissions, Working Groups and Subgroups represent their National

17、Associations. Members accept the responsibility to keep their National Associations informed of developments. In AECMA meetings they are considered to have the mandate of the interested parties in the country they represent. SubRrouD Procedure for Amendments of Volune 2 With respect to Volume 2 the

18、Subgroups are responsible for: - - Further development of existing Messages and existing Data-Elements. Proposals to undertake the development of new Messages. Subgroup Chairmen are responsible for communicating anenciments and proposals to the CDEWG-Coordinator. To ensure adequate consultation of o

19、ther Subgroups, the documents related to amendments and proposals to be discussed at the next earliest CDEWG-meeting have to be received by the CDEWG- Coordinator at least 3 weeks ahead of the CDEWG-meeting. The CDEWG-Coordinator circulates these documents to the ieabers. For this purpose the Subgro

20、up Chairmen should use the “CDEWG Document Track Record“. To facilitate the input into the database of Alpha-Numeric Messages, Subgroups developing such messages should use the specification forms for Messages, Segments and Data-Elements as annexed to the document “Description and Manual of the AECM

21、A EDI-Standards Database System“. CDEWG-Procedure for Amendments of Volume 2 With respect to Volume 2 the CDEWG is responsible for: - - Approval of amendments proposed by Subgroups. Approval of proposals for development of new Messabbs. The CDEWG-Coordinator is responsible for identifying interfaces

22、 with other Subgroups and distribution of the documents. To ensure adequate consultation, matters raised at one CDEWG- meeting will not be voted on until the following meeting.
