Asuperscript epsilon () indicates an editorial change since the last revision or reapproval.1. Scope*1.1 This specification covers 0.070 in. wall t
3、hickness cross-linked polyethylene (PEX) tubing that is outside diametercontrolled, and intended for non-potable radiant heating appli-cations for pressures up to 75 psig in sizes58 NTS (nominaltubing size) and78 NTS. This specification also includesfittings that are specifically designed for this 0
4、.070 in.-wallPEX tubing. Only maximum 75-psig relief valves shall be usedwith this tubing. Included in this specification are requirementsand test methods for material, workmanship, dimensions, burstpressure, hydrostatic sustained pressure, environmental stresscracking, stabilizer functionality, ben
5、t-tube hydrostaticpressure, excessive temperature and degree of crosslinking.Requirements for tubing markings are also given. This speci-fication incorporates an optional middle or outer oxygen barrierlayer. This tubing is not intended for field bending at tempera-tures above 120 F (49 C).1.2 The te
6、xt of this specification references notes, footnotes,and appendixes, which provide explanatory material. Thesenotes and footnotes (excluding those in tables and figures) shallnot be considered as requirements of the specification.1.3 The values stated in inch-pound units are to be regardedas standar
