SCOPE:1.1 Form.form ofThis specification covers thermal radiation resistant material in thetape with pressure-sensitive adhesive.1.2 Application: Primarily for use where flexibility and light weight arerequired.2. APPLICABLE DOCUMENTS: See AMS-3779.3. TECHNICAL REOUIREMENTS:3.1 Basic Specifi

3、cation: The complete requirements for procuring the tapedescribed herein shall consist of this document and the latest issue of thebasic specification, AMS-3779.3.2 Material: Shall be as follows:3.2.1 Backing: Shall be an aluminum-coated glass cloth conforming to AMS-3824,Style 120 or Style 2120.3.2

4、.2 Adhesive: Shall be a pressure-sensitive silicone polymer. The adhesiveshall require no solvent, heat, or other preparation prior to or afterapplication to clean, dry surfaces. There shall be no liner covering theadhesive.3.2.3 Color: Tape backing shall have a shiny silver appearance.SAE Technical
