5、S3204L Rubber Synthetic Low-Temperature Resistant 25 - 35 RATIONALE AMS 3204M results from a Five Year Review and update of this specification. 1. SCOPE 1.1 Form This specification covers a synthetic rubber in the form of sheet, strip, tubing, extrusions, and molded shapes. 1.2 Application These pro
6、ducts have been typically used for parts, such as sleeves, fairings, grommets, and window channels, where resistance to low temperature is of prime importance, but usage is not limited to such applications. Each application should be considered individually. 1.3 Safety - Hazardous Materials While th
7、e materials, methods, applications, and processes described or referenced in this specification may involve the use of hazardous materials, this specification does not address the hazards which may be involved in such use. It is the sole responsibility of the user to ensure familiarity with the safe

APPLICABLE DOCUMENTS 2.1 The purchase order date shall stipulate the published document that shall be in effect. The supplier may work to a subsequent

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS 3.1 Material Shall be a compound, based on a synthetic elastomer, usually polychloroprene, suitably cured to produce a product meeting the requirements of 3.2. 3.2 Properties The product shall conform to the

20、ll applicable requirements of AMS 2279 . 3.4 Toxicological Formulations The material shall have no adverse effects on the health of personnel when used for its intended purpose in accordance with manufacturers instructions and with appropriate handling procedures. 3.5 Quality Products, as received b
21、y purchaser, shall be uniform in quality and condition, smooth, as free from foreign material as commercially practicable, and free from imperfections detrimental to usage of the product. 4. RESPONSIBILITY FOR INSPECTION The manufacturer of the product shall be responsible for performance of all req
22、uired tests. Purchaser reserves the right to sample and perform any testing deemed necessary to ensure that the product conforms to the AMS requirements. 4.1 Classification of Tests 4.1.1 Acceptance Tests Requirements shown in Table 2 are acceptance tests and shall be performed on each lot: TABLE 2
