SCOPE 1.1 Scope - The inclinometer covered by this specification shall be for flight

2、line or shop use and shall provide the functions and facilities necessary to measure the alignmnt of the vertical gyro with respect to the AMCS Aero XU. 1.2 Classification - The inclinometer specified herein shell be of one type an shall con- sist of the foliowing: Max. FuQm-s 3.1 Parts and Materials - In the selection of parts and m

The synchro shall be capable of being rotated in its mounting using a pinion wrench, Buor Dwg. 677036. 3.4.1.L.5 Gravity

8、Sensing Device - Attached to the rotor of the Synchro Control Transformer epecsied in para. 3.4.1.1.4 above, shall be a gcavity sensing device of Sufficient weight to maintain a rotor constaat vlth respect to earth when rotation not exceeding fi8“ is imparted to the stator. This device shall be damp

9、ed with a damping factor of 0.8 i 0.1. This data shall include a list of all electrical and elec- tronic parts giving the* specified voltage, current and temperature rating and the applie cixcuit voltage, current and ambient and surface temperatures. The ambient and surface temperature shall b

12、e obtained under the extreme high temperature operating condition. This data may be included as part of the lzeliminary parts list. and when requested by the procuring activity, the equipment shall be delivered to a specified govern- ment laboratory for additional testing. This additional testing ma

20、equipent under 4.3.3 Reconditioning of Production Test Sample - On compleeion of the productian 8ainple test the equipment shall b e reworked by the contractor by replacing all worn or dame ibm8. After reworkbg the contractor shaU. resubmit the equipnent for acceptance. 4.4 Acce ance Tests - The con

21、tractor shall furnish all samples and shall be responsible for accmplishingt + e acceptance tests. W. inspection and testing shall be under tM supervision oi the government inspector. 23、 furnish test reports showing quantitative results for all acceptance Such reports shall be signed by an authorized representative of the contractor or laboratory, (1) Individual Tests (2) Sampling Tests (3) Special Tests 4.4.1 Individual Tests - Each equipent subn$tted for acceptance sbell be subjc

24、ctsd fo the individual tests. These tests shall be adequate to determine compliance with the repuirsments of material, worhamship, operatioml adequacy and reliability. As a minimimr, each equipeat accepted shall bave passed the following tests: (i) Examination of Product (2) Operational Test (3) Man

25、ufacturing Reliability Test 4.4.1.1 Examination of Product - Each equipment shall be examined carefully to detennine that, the material and workmnship requiremts have been met. 4.4.1.2 Operational Test - Each equipnt shall be operated 1- enaugh to penult ths equipment temperature to stablilze and to

26、 check sufficient characteristics and record adequate es prior to the beginning of-tte 6-hour period of operation. Wbere feasible, the equipnt shall be operated during We vibration period for the purpose of detectting flaws and Imperfect workmanship. Operation within the epecifled Wts of satisfactor

27、y performance is nut necessarily required during the Vibration period. The direction of vibration shoud be vertical to the nonaal mounting plane for 5 mlnutes end lateral to the vibratioii period need not be repeated when it is certain the failure XaS not a result of the Vibration. Should repetitive

28、 failures occur, corrective action shall be tiiken to elhhate this defect from fubure equimt. A record shall be kept; of all failures. The $-hour period speci- fied above my be cmsed of two 3-hour periods to conform with sWard working hours, Campian; tests shall be conducted on eqipnts which have su

30、e of failure. (2) Determine if the failure is an isolated case or design defect. (3) Submit to the rocuring activity for approval, proposed corrective action intenaed to rezuce the possibility of the same faJlme(s) occuring in futura tests. (4) Where practical, include a test in the individual test
