FinishITY ASSURANCE PROVISIONS 4.1 Responsibility for inspection. nlecs otherwise specified in the contract or purchase order, the contractor is responsible for the performance of ail inspection requiranents as specified herein. Except as otherwise

31、 specified in the contract or purchase order, the contractor may use kis own or any other facilities suitable for the pcrformance of the inspsction requirements specified herein, unless disapproved by Government. Te Governinent reserves the right to perform any of the inspections set forth ln the sp

32、ecification where such inspxtions are deemed necessary to assure supplies ami services conform to prescribed requirements. 4.1.1 Responsibility of canpliance. All itans must meet all requiranents of sections 3 and 5. nie inspection set forth in this specification shall become a part of the contracto

33、rs overall inspection system or quality program. Ihe absence of any inspection requirements in the specification shall not relieve the contractor of the responsibility of assuring that all products or supplies suhnittxd to the Goverment for acceptance comply with all reauiranents of the contract. Sm

34、pling in quality conformance does not authorize sutmission of known defective mterial, either indicated or actual, nor does it camiit the Government to acceptance of defective material. 4.1.2 Certificate - of liane. men certificates of canpliance are suhnitte, the Govermntservec the right to check t

35、est such items to determine the validity of the certification. 4.2 Classification of inspections. The inspection requirements specified herein are classified as follows: 0 1. 2. 37、mination ad tests. 4.5 Quality conformance inspections 4.5.1 Component - and material testinq. In accordance with 4.1 above, components and materials shall he tested in accordance with all recniirements of referenced specifications, figures and standards unless otherwise exclude?, amended, modified

38、or qualified in this specification or applicable purchase docunent. In addition, testing shall be prformed on mponents listed in Table III ?or characteristics noted, Al1 requirements are applicable to the sample unit. Ail test reports shall contain the individual values utilized in expressing the fi

PACKAGING 5.1 Packaging. Packaging shall be level A or comnercial as specified (see 6.2). 5.1.1 hvel A. Each cap sha

44、ll kx placed in an individual polyethylene bag measuring approximately 6 inches wide by 15 inches long. ?he polyethylene flexible film shall be 0.0015 inch thick. Fach bag chal1 contain a label (see 5.3). 5.1.2 Cmrcial. Ihe caps shall be packaged in accoiucnct with the manufacturers cmrcial practice

45、. 5.2 Packing Packing shall be level A, B, or carmercial as specified (see 6.2). 5.2.1 Level A. 5.2.1.1 Method 1. Che hundred twenty-five (125) caps of one size only, packaged as specified in 5.1.1 , shall be packed in a fiberboard shipping container With liner conforming to class %ather resistant,

46、size No. 2A or MILrB-17757, assembled, closed, and reinforced as specified in the appendix thereto. Tbwards the end of the contract, or when there is less than the required amount of the same size per container, mixe- sizes maybe pcked within the caaiie shipping container. 5.2.1.2 Method 2. 47、ified (see 6.21, six level B shimins containers, (750 caps of one size only) shall be packed in a fiberboard chipping container conforming to class cw MII.d-29433 (MC) 5.3 Marking. In addition to any splcial marking required by the contract or purchase order, the shipping containers shall be marked

48、in accordance With the requirements of MIL-STD-129. 5.3.1 Polyethlene bagged packages. Polethylene bagged packages shall have the following information legibly printed or stamp3 in black directly on the bag across the center face or on a white paper label inserted within the bag so as to permit reay

49、 identification. The bag or label shall indicate the following information. 5.3.2 Mixed sizes.
