The ITU

8、Telecommunication Standardization Sector (IT-T) is a permanent organ of the ITU. Some 179 member countries, 84 telecom operating entities, 145 scientific and industrial organizations and 38 international organizations participate in ITU-T which is the body which sets world telecommunications standar

9、ds (Recommendations). The approval of Recommendations by the Members of ITU-T is covered by the procedure laid down in WTSC Resolution No. 1 (Helsinki, 1993). In addition, the World Telecommunication Standardization Conference (WTSC), which meets every four years, approves Recommendations submitted

10、to it and establishes the study programme for the following period. In some areas of information technology which fall within ITU-Ts purview, the necessary standards are prepared on a collaborative basis with IS0 and IEC. The text of ITU-T Recommendation T.424 was approved on 3rd of July 1996. The i

11、dentical text is also published as ISOAEC International Standard 8613-14. NOTE In this Recommendation, the expression “Administration” is used for conciseness to indicate both a telecommunication administration and a recognized operating agency. 27、formatted hypermedia documents (HyperODA). The non-linear structures are required to enable an ODA document to be traversed in a non-linear fashion. It also supports the use of a temporal dimension in ODA documents as well as future non-spatially oriented content architectures Introduction This Reco

28、mmendation I International Standard was prepared as a joint publication by IT Study Group 8 and ISOIEC Joint Technical Committee 1. At present, the IT-T Rec.
