SCOPE The material defined by this specification is a synthetic rubber such as Buna-N, adaptable to high temperature service conditions. 2. APPLICATION This material is generally used as oil seals in automatic
3、transmissions and hydraulic systems or as shown on engineering drawing. 3. REQUIREMENTS 3.0 STANDARD REQUIREMENTS FOR PRODUCTION MATERIALS Material suppliers and part producers must conform to the Companys Standard Requirements For Production Materials (WSS-M99P1111-A). 3.1 REQUIREMENTS OF SLAB STOC
4、KS 3.1.1 Original Properties Hardness, Shore “A“ 65 - 70 (ASTM D 2240) Tensile Strength, min 10.3 MN/m2(ASTM D 412, Die C) Elongation at Break, min 250% (ASTM D 412, Die C) 3.1.2 Change After Ageing in ASTM Oil No. 1 168 h at 140 +/- 2 C (ASTM D 471) Hardness -10 to +10 Units Tensile Strength, max -
5、20% Elongation at Break, max -60% Volume 0 to -6% Note: Volume change to be determined on typical seals in addition to slab stock from same batch of material.
