The determination of unsaponifiable-matter content, foots, colophony (rosin), fish oil and mineral acid havebeen deleted because they are no longer necessary. The determination of volatile

24、-matter content has been replaced by the determination of water content. The determination of ash has been deleted because it is not required very often. Separate the precipitated material bycentrifuging, wash the precipitate free of oil with acetone and then dry and weigh. Report the percentage ofprecipitated material by mass as the PAT value.9.2 Reagents and mater
