26、or the information to be included. 1.1 Title of detail specification The title of the detail specification shall clearly state the characteristic features of cable outlet accessories detailed. If possible, the titles should be sufficiently explicit to differentiate one detail specification from anot

27、her. 1.2 Drawing information In order to facilitate comparison of various detail specifications, the following uniform presentation of drawing information is recommended. 1.2.1 Projection method and dimensioning system One projection method shall be used and indicated throughout the detail specifica

28、tion, either first angle or third angle projection. The system of units adopted for international standardization in IEC is the SI system. Therefore, all dimensions shall be given in metric units. Inch equivalents may be added if necessary. The original dimensions shall be stated. Dimensions and dev

29、iations in drawings shall be given in accordance with the relevant ISO recommendations, such as ISO 129, and ISO 1101. 1.2.2 Drawings and dimensions The drawings are not intended to be used as manufacturing drawings. Their purpose is: to provide the user with the information necessary to choose and

30、apply the cable outlet accessories; to provide manufacturers, users and approving and inspection authorities with the information necessary to ensure and to check interchangeability, intermateability and intermountability (such as form, fit and function); to provide manufacturers with the informatio

31、n necessary as a basis for their particular design. The drawings and the associated dimensions shall contain all information necessary to serve this purpose. 32、l be given where sufficient. Drawings and dimensions shall cover: isometric view showing the basic design including common characteristics of related cable outlet accessories; overall dimensions of individual cable outlet accessories; mounting information; special tools if applicable; testing gauges

33、 and jigs. 1.3 System of lettering In order to facilitate comparison of various detail specifications and recognition of corresponding dimensions, the following uniform lettering shall be used where practicable. Capital letters shall be used for the main dimensions Small letters shall optionally be

34、chosen and used for all other dimensions. 1.4 Normative references The following referenced documents are indispensable for the application of this document. For dated references, only the edition cited applies. For undated references, the latest edition of the referenced document (including any ame

37、rm, orientation, location and run-out Generalities, definitions, symbols, indications on drawings 2 Contents of a detail specification In order to facilitate comparison of the various detail specifications, the following standard format shall be used. The detail specification shall contain all the i

38、nformation listed below and in the order given. If a clause or subclause is not applicable to the cable outlet accessories under consideration, this shall be stated but the title and number of the clause or subclause shall be included. The clauses and subclauses listed below may further be subdivide

39、d if necessary or desirable for the sake of clarity. Page5 EN610767001:20042.1 Title The front page shall contain an information covering title. 2.2 Scope It shall be clearly stated which cable outlet accessories are covered, and the characteristic features shall be mentioned. Features already inclu

40、ded in the title may be repeated. The description of the cable outlet accessories shall make reference to the termination of shield, material or finish and sealing. 2.3 Type designation The basic system as given in 2.7 of IEC 61076-7 shall be included. If this basic system is to be extended to cover

41、 further information, the addition shall be detailed. 2.4 Common features and isometric view An isometric view shall be included and shall show the main characteristics of the design including common features, if applicable. If the detail specification covers a group of related cable outlet accessor

42、ies, their common features shall be clearly shown. A survey of variants may be added, if appropriate. 2.5 Dimensions and mass The basic rules as laid down in 1.2.2 shall be followed. The information shall be given in the following order: general Original dimensions and the projection method shall be

43、 stated. It shall be specified that the shape of the cable outlet accessories may deviate from that shown in the drawings as long as the specified dimensions are not influenced; outline dimensions and mass of cable outlet accessories; assembly tools; intermateability information. 2.6 Gauges, jigs an

44、d fixtures The dimensions stated shall include the surface finish, the tolerances stated shall include wear. A suitable surface finish and hardness of the critical parts of the gauges shall be specified. 2.7 Characteristics Climatic category The appropriate climatic categories shall be selected from

45、 the preferred categories listed in 2.2 of IEC 61076-7. Page6 EN610767001:2004 Electrical The following information shall be included, if appropriate: housing (shell) continuity under specified conditions; shielding effectiveness under specified conditions. Mechanical The following information shall

46、 be included if appropriate: bump severity; vibration severity; shock severity; mechanical endurance under specified conditions; minimum and maximum cable outlet size and entry. Resistance to fluids The fluids to which the cable outlet accessories are resistant shall be listed. 2.8 Test schedule The

47、 requirements of Clause 4 of IEC 61076-7 shall apply. Where a detail specification covers a group of related cable outlet accessories, the tests and requirements for all of these cable outlet accessories shall be presented in one common set of tables related to the test schedule, if possible. 2.9 Qu

48、ality assessment See Clause 3 of IEC 61076-7. 2.10 Capability assessment See Clause 5 of IEC 61076-7. 2.11 Ordering information The detail specification shall require the following information to be given when ordering components conforming with the specification: the type designation; details of ma
