Donotusecartridgessubjectedtothispreliminarytestforfurthertesting. 5 Preparationofnotchedtestpieces 5.1 General Ifthemanufacturerofcartridgedexplosivesclaimsthattheexplosivecompositionisinherentlywaterresistant,then notchesshallbecutintoallcartridge

30、softhetestpiece. 5.2 Cuttingnotches Eachnotchshallbeapproximately20mmlong,0,5mmwideand5mmdeep.Thenumberofnotchesshallbe suchthatthereisonenotchper30cm 2 ofsurface.Thenotchesshallbeuniformlydistributedoverthe circumference. 6 Testforwaterresistance 6.1 Apparatus 6.1.1 Meansofinitiation, asspecifiedby

31、theexplosivesmanufacturerintermsofinitiatingcapabilityaccording toprEN1363110:2000,subclause5.1. 6.1.2 Watertank,whichallowseasyandcompleteimmersionofthetestpiecesinwater.Theheightofthe watertankshallbesufficienttoholdwatertoadepthofatleast200mmplusthediameterofthetestpiece.Inthe caseofatubularwater

32、tankitsdiametershallbeatleasttwicethediameterofthetestpiece. 6.1.3 Meansofassessingcompletedetonation,(e.g.equipmentformeasuringvelocityofdetonationas specifiedinprEN1363114,orwitnessplates).EN136315:2002(E) 7 6.2 Procedure 6.2.1 Cartridgedexplosives Thetestpiececonsistsofanumberofcartridgeswithatot

39、forbulkexplosives,theminimumdiameterrecommendedbythemanufacturerforthatproduct.The boreholeshallhaveadepthofatleast3mbelowthewatertable.Afterremovingthewatertheboreholeshallrefill withinnotmorethan60min.Loadtheboreholewiththeexplosiveundertestandprepareitforblastinginthe normalway.Waitatleast5hplust
