SCOPE 1.1 Scope. This drawing describes the complete requirements for a

5、 cylindrical capacitor clamp. 1.2 Part or Identifying Number (PIN). The complete PIN shall be as follows: 87008 -XX | | | | Drawing Dash number number (see table I) 2. APPLICABLE DOCUMENTS 2.1 Government document. 2.1.1 Specifications, standards, and handbooks. The following standard forms a part of

6、 this document to the extent specified herein. Unless otherwise specified, the issues of these documents are those listed cited in the solicitation (see 6.3). 2.2 Order of precedence. In the event of a conflict between the text of this document and the references cited herein, the text of this docum

7、ent takes precedence. Nothing in this document, however, supersedes applicable laws and regulations unless a specific exemption has been obtained. 3. REQUIREMENTS 3.1 Design, construction, and physical dimensions. The design, construction, and physical dimensions shall be as specified herein. 3.1.1

8、Material and finish. Cold rolled steel, nickel or zinc electroplate, 0.00015 inch minimum thickness plus silver chromate post-treatment. 3.1.2 Clamp dimensions. The clamp dimensions shall be in accordance with figure 1 and table I. 3.2 Tin plated finishes. Tin plating is prohibited as a final finish

9、 or as an undercoat. Tin-lead (Sn-PB) finishes are acceptable provided that the minimum lead content is 3 percent. 3.1.3 Recycled, recovered, or environmentally preferable materials. Recycled, recovered, or environmentally preferable materials should be used to the maximum extent possible provided t

10、hat the material meets or exceeds the operational and maintenance requirements, and promotes economically advantageous life cycle costs. 3.1.4 Certificate of compliance. A certificate of compliance shall be required from manufacturers requesting to be a suggested source of supply. 3.1.5 Workmanship.

11、 Clamps shall be free of burrs and sharp edges (see 4.1.2). PACKAGING 5.1 Packaging. For acquisition purposes, the packaging requirements shall be as specified in the contract or or

22、der (see 6.2). When packaging of materiel is to be performed by DoD or in house personnel, these personnel need to contact the responsible packaging activity to ascertain packaging requirements. Packaging requirements are maintained by the Inventory Control Points packaging activity within the Milit

23、ary Department or Defense Agency, or within the Military services system commands. Packaging data retrieval is available from the managing Military Departments or Defense Agencys automated packaging files, CD-ROM products, or by contacting the responsible packaging activity. 6.
