1、Designation: G 118 02 (Reapproved 2007)Standard Guide forRecommended Format of Wear Test Data Suitable forDatabases1This standard is issued under the fixed designation G 118; the number immediately following the designation indicates the year oforiginal adoption or, in the case of revision, the year
2、 of last revision. A number in parentheses indicates the year of last reapproval. Asuperscript epsilon (e) indicates an editorial change since the last revision or reapproval.1. Scope1.1 This guide covers and is intended to assist in theorganization of wear test data for the purpose of data storage
3、incomputerized databases. It is meant to assist the user indeveloping databases for the purpose of data comparison andutilization. This guide does not require the use of any particulardatabase format, nor does it endorse any particular computerdatabase software.5.
17、2 Because of increased activity in building computerizeddatabases and the desire to encourage their uniformity andtherefore the ease of data comparison and data interchange, itis appropriate to provide a guide for the inclusion of wear testdata in databases. Availability of a guide also encourages t
