Scope1.1 This guide sets forth labeling and instruction guidelinesfor manufacturers of wrestling mats.1

9、a level of dangercommensurate with the risk of injury.3.1.12 warning, nsignal word used to indicate a poten-tially hazardous situation that, if not avoided, could result indeath or serious injury.3.2 Definitions of Terms Specific to This Standard:3.2.1 date of manufacture, nuncoded four-digit year d

10、ur-ing which the wrestling mat was manufactured.3.2.2 durable, adjlabel should be designed to be legible aslong as the manufacturers logo remains legible.4. Significance and Use4.1 This guide gives guidelines for labels and instructions tomanufacturers that manufacture wrestling mats.4.2 The purpose

11、 of the labels and instructions is to help alertand remind users of important issues related to wrestling matsand their use.4.3 LimitationThis guide applies only to wrestling matswhose standard specifications are under auspices of ASTMCommittee F08.5. Wrestling Mat Labeling Requirements5.1 Required

12、information shall be on one or more labels thatare affixed to the wrestling mat in a durable fashion. The labelsshall have:5.1.1 Manufacturer IdentificationFull name.1This guide is under the jurisdiction of ASTM Committee F08 on SportsEquipment, Playing Surfaces, and Facilities and is the direct res

16、n users and instructors of this mat to make surethat they have allowed enough space to properly and safelyperform the chosen maneuvers on the mat.5.1.6 Perform all maneuvers so as to avoid contact withinstructors, bystanders or other users, and to avoid goingoutside the perimeter of this mat.5.1.7 M

Accompanying Literature Requirements6.1 Accompanying literature can be on product pa

Theaccompanying literature shall have:6.1.1 Care instructions such as:6.1.1.1 Cleaning instructions.6.1.1.2 When to replace or recondition.6.1.1.3 What materials can damage the mat.6.1.1.4 Pre-use inspection.6.1.1.5 Proper storage and
