Significance and Use4.1 The requirements of this specification are intended toprovide inlet valve socket dimensions to establish standardiza-tion of connecti

10、ons between central vacuum hose cuff and thesocket of the central vacuum hose inlet valve.5. Materials5.1 Basic MaterialsMetallic and non-metallic as specifiedby the central vacuum inlet valve purchaser and the seller.6. Requirements6.1 GeneralDimensions and Tolerances:6.1.1 Socket DimensionsThe soc

11、ket dimensions shallmeet the requirements given in Fig. 1, when measured inaccordance with Test Method D2122.7. Test Method7.1 SamplingThe selection of Hose Inlet Valve samplesshall be as agreed upon between the purchaser and seller. Incase of no prior agreement, samples selected by a testinglaborat

There shall be no agreement to lower the minimumrequirements of this specification by such means as omittingtests that are a part of this specification, substituting ormodifying a test method, or by changing the specificationlimits. In retesting, the

17、product requirements of this specifica-tion shall be met, and the test methods designated in thespecification shall be followed. If, upon retest, failure occurs,the quantity of product represented by the test(s) does not meetthe requirements of this specification.9. Quality Assurance9.1 When the pro

18、duct is marked with this designation,ASTM F2863, the manufacturer affirms that the product wasmanufactured, inspected, sampled, and tested in accordancewith this standard and has been found to meet the requirementsof this specification.10.
