3、or reapproval.1. Scope1.1 This practice covers the procedures for the reconstruc-tion of pipelines and conduits (4 to 48 in. (100 to 1200 mm)diameter) by the pulled-in place installation of a resin-impregnated, flexible fabric tube into an existing conduitfollowed by inflation with compressed air (s
4、ee Fig. 1). Theresin/fabric tube can be cured by either the flow through thefabric tube of mixed air and steam or by use of ultraviolet light.When cured, the finished cured-in-place pipe will be continu-ous and tight fitting. This reconstruction process can be used ina variety of gravity flow applic
5、ations such as sanitary sewers,storm sewers, process piping, electrical conduits, ventilationsystems, and pressure applications.1.2 The values stated in inch-pound units are to be regardedas standard. Significance and Use4.1 This practice is for use by designers and specifiers,regulatory agencies, owners and inspection organizations whoare involved in the rehabilitation of conduits through the use ofa resin-im

As forany standard practice, modifications may be required forspecific job conditions.5. Recommended Materials and Manufac
22、ture5.1 GeneralThe fabric tube, resin and external prelinersshall produce a CIPP that meets the requirements of thesespecifications.5.2 CIPP Wall CompositionThe wall shall consist of acorrosion resistant fiberglass fabric tube (Fig. 2) saturated witha thermosetting (cross-linked) resin, and if used
23、a fillermaterial.5.2.1 Fabric TubeThe fabric tube shall consist of at leasttwo separate tubes made of corrosion resistant (E-CR) glassfibers in accordance with Specification D 578. 24、 (2009)3fabric tube shall further be constructed with longitudinalunidirectional glass roving of sufficient strength to negotiate apulling force at least equal to the weight of the liner. The fabrictube shall tolerate up to 10 % circumferential changes in theexisting conduit.5.2.2 External FoilsThe
