Scope1.1 This test method is used for evaluating hand dexteritywhile wearing gloves.1.1.1 This te
3、st method covers procedures in which thewearer picks up small objects between the thumb and indexfinger.1.2 This test method is suitable for evaluating gloves andother forms of hand protection that allow the wearer to pick upsmall objects between their thumb and index finger.1.3 This test method doe
4、s not address all effects of glove useon hand function. Other methods should be considered toevaluate the effects of gloves on grip, tactility, and other handfunctions of interest.NOTE 1This test method may not apply to all glove types orapplications.1.4 The values stated in SI units or in other uni

Summary of Test Method4.1 The time required for a test subject to place pegs into apegboard is measured without gloves and then later whilewearing gloves. The additional time required to perform thetask while wearing gloves is reported an

Significance and Use5.1 The test method is intended to provide a quantitativemeasurement about the effect of gloves on wearer dexterity bycomparing the times required to perform a simple task with andwithout gloves.5.2 This test m
12、ethod does not discriminate all glove effectson wearer hand function or apply to all glove types andapplications. Additional evaluations or tests representative ofthe glove use application should be performed to determine theoverall impact of gloves on wearer hand function.6. Apparatus6.1 Test Appar

Test Specimen7.1 For each style of glove evaluated, test five pairs
18、(tengloves), preferably of five different sizes. When less than fivedifferent glove sizes are available for the particular glove style,test different pairs of the same size so that a total of at least fivedifferent glove pairs are tested.7.2 Test each glove in new, as distributed, condition. 19、pply special softening treatments to gloves prior to tests.8. Test Preparation8.1 Evaluate each pair of gloves with a separate test subject.8.2 The hand dimensions of test subjects must be as close aspossible to those specified in manufacturers glove sizingguidelines.8.3 Familiarize test subjects wi
