3、ndcross-linked (PEX) reinforcing rings for use with cross-linkedpolyethylene (PEX) plastic tubing in38,12,58,34, 1, 1-14 ,112in. and 2 in. nominal diameters that meet the requirements ofSpecifications F876 and F877. These fittings are intended foruse in 100 psi (690 kPa) cold- and hot-water distribu
4、tionsystems operating at temperatures up to and including 180F(82C). The system is comprised of a PEX reinforcing ring anda cold expansion fitting. Included are the requirements formaterials, workmanship, dimensions, and markings to be usedon the fitting components. The components covered by thisspe
5、cification are intended for use in residential and commer-cial, hot and cold, potable water distribution systems as well assealed central heating, including under-floor-heating systems.1.2 The values stated in inch-pound units are to be regardedas the standard.
