Terminology3.1 Definition:3.1.1 commercial dishwashing machinesmachines thatuniformly wash, rinse, and heat sanitize eating and drinkingutensils.3.1.1.1 DiscussionThe machines shall be capable of re-moving physica
9、l soil from properly racked and prescrappeditems, and sanitizing multiple-use eating and drinking utensils.The dishwashing machine and conveyor-table, when as-sembled, shall form an oval-shaped dish handling system. Themachines shall automatically convey racks of soiled dishesthrough the treatment s
10、tages of the machine, conveying themout to the clean dish removal area of the conveyor. Thedishwashing machines shall consist of the following principalparts: legs, recirculating pre-wash chamber, wash chamber,rinse chamber, tanks, doors, spray assemblies, pumps, motors,controls, piping, valves, con
11、veying mechanisms, horizontalconveyor tables, heating equipment, and accessories.4. Classification4.1 GeneralDishwashing machines shall be of the types,styles, classes, arrangement, sizes, and capacity groups, asspecified in 4.2-4.6.1This specification is under the jurisdiction of ASTM Committee F26
