Scope1.1 This test method covers a procedure for determining theeffect of impact loading on the bonding of sprayed fire-resistivematerial (SFRM) applied to the underside of steel floor de
4、ck.These materials include sprayed fibrous and cementitiousmaterials applied directly in contact with the structural mem-bers. The test method is applicable only to laboratory proce-dures.1.2 The values stated in either SI units or inch-pound unitsare to be regarded separately as standard. The value
5、s stated ineach system may not be exact equivalents; therefore, eachsystem shall be used independently of the other. Combiningvalues from the two systems may result in non-conformancewith the standard.1.3 This standard does not purport to address all of thesafety concerns, if any, associated with it

8、mary of Test Method3.1 In this test method, a cellular steel deck with a concretetopping sprayed with fire-resistive material is subjected to aleather bag drop impact while supported horizontally at itsends.4. Significance and Use4.1 The intent of this test method is to determine a propertyof SFRM t
9、hat may be used to provide an indication of itsin-place serviceability. Satisfactory performance of SFRMapplied to structural members and assemblies depends upon itsability to withstand the various influences that may occurduring construction and during the life of the structure, as wellas upon its
10、satisfactory performance under fire conditions.4.2 The test method measures the behavior of SFRM whenthe floor construction to which it is applied is subjected toshock loading and evaluates adhesion and resistance tospalling, cracking, and delamination. It is an indication of theability of SFRM to r
11、emain in place and resist removal duringanticipated service conditions.5. Apparatus5.1 SupportsRigid base to provide at least 50 mm 2 in.bearing and a clear span between supports of at least 3 m10 ft.5.2 Impact InstrumentA lead shot- or steel shot-filledleather bag weighing 27.2 kg 60 lb and equippe
12、d with aleather hoisting strap, both as described in Test Method E695.5.3 RuleTo measure the height of drop (1.2 m 4 ft) withan accuracy of 12.8 mm 12 in.6. Materials6.1 The test specimen shall be a deck assembly consisting ofcellular steel deck and a concrete topping. The cellular steeldeck shall b
