Terminology3.1 Definitions:3.1.1 basic PDD trainingthe initia

Significance and Use4.1 This practice is intended to ensure that those individualswho are administering PDD examinations of sex offenders areproficient in such testing techniques.5. Minimum Requirement

6、s for a Qualifying Curriculumfor PDD Testing of Sex Offenders5.1 The required number of minimum hours of advancedspecial training to qualify for sex offender testing is 40 h inaccordance with Guide E 2062.5.2 A minimum of 24 h of training must be in the primaryarea of sex offender PDD testing to inc

7、lude:5.2.1 Techniques of sexual history disclosure testing,5.2.2 Techniques of specific offense issue testing,5.2.3 Techniques of maintenance testing,5.2.4 Techniques of monitoring testing,5.2.5 Instruction in validated PDD testing formats,5.2.6 Pretest interview procedures and formats,5.2.7 Use of

8、PDD examinations as required by GuideE 2080 in the treatment and supervision process, and5.2.8 Appropriate legal requirements or restrictions.5.3 A minimum of 16 h of specialized training must begiven on topics which directly relate to the treatment andsupervision of the sex offender. The topics sha

9、ll include, butare not limited to:5.3.1 Behavior and motivation of sex offenders,5.3.2 Trauma factors associated with victims or survivors ofsexual assault,5.3.3 Overview of the assessment and treatment modalitiesfor sex offenders, and5.3.4 Sex offender denial.5.4 Instructors in course material rela

10、ted to PDD testingmust meet the minimum ASTM standards of a primaryinstructor for a PDD basic course as required by Guide E 2000.Additionally, that instructor shall possess professionally recog-nized expertise in sex offender testing.5.4.1 All instructors of sex offender testing courses relatingto t

Sex Offender Testing Course Admission andCertification Requirements6.1

14、All PDD examiners attending the polygraph instructionportion of a sex offender testing course of instruction must begraduates of a basic polygraph examiner training coursemeeting the minimum requirements set forth in Guide E 2000.6.2 Non PDD examiners who are involved in the clinicaltreatment and su

15、pervision of sex offenders may attend the sexoffender testing course but will not be eligible to be certified topractice as PDD examiners, as a result of attending this course.6.3 Evidence of PDD training should be documented by theprovider of the instruction and furnished to the personsreceiving th

16、is PPD training by diploma, letter or transcriptsetting forth the following minimum information:6.3.1 Name, address, and location of the training,6.3.2 Name of the instructor or instructor(s) providing theinstruction along with a resume of the instructor(s),6.3.3 Date(s) of training and name of the

17、person receivingthe training, and6.3.4 Number of hours of training broken down by curricu-lum or subject matter and appropriate course outline(s).7.
