1、Designation: D8172 18Standard Test Method forShear and Peel Strength of Solvent-Welded Seams withNonreinforced Geomembranes1This standard is issued under the fixed designation D8172; the number immediately following the designation indicates the year oforiginal adoption or, in the case of revision,
2、the year of last revision. A number in parentheses indicates the year of last reapproval. Asuperscript epsilon () indicates an editorial change since the last revision or reapproval.1. 3、tegrity ofgeomembrane seams produced by adhesive and chemicalfusion methods. These test procedures are intended for nonre-inforced geomembranes only. This test method utilizes twosampling techniques; Method A is for seams produced withouta testing flap, while Method B is for seams that produce atest
4、ing flap.1.2 The rationale behind the two methods is that mostseaming processes produce some type of flap on the back sideor front side, or both, of the seam to perform peel testing. However, there are some processes in the industry that do notproduce any type of flap to perform seam peel testing, an

Thevalues stated in each system
