Scope1.1 This classification system covers segmented blockcopolyether-ester elastomers suitable for molding

3、 and extru-sion.1.2 This classification system allows for the use of seg-mented block copolyether-ester elastomers that are recycledprovided that the requirements as stated in this classificationsystem are met. The proportions of recycled material used, aswell as the nature and amount of any contami

4、nant, however,cannot be covered practically in this specification.1.3 The properties included in this classification system arethose required to identify the compositions covered. There maybe other requirements necessary to identify particular charac-teristics important to specialized applications.

5、These may bespecified using the suffixes as given in Section 5.1.4 This classification system and subsequent line callout(specification) are intended to provide a means of calling outplastic materials used in the fabrication of end items or parts.It is not intended for the selection of materials. 6、terialselection should be made by those having expertise in theplastic field after careful consideration of the design and theperformance required of the part, the environment to which itwill be exposed, the fabrication process to be employed, thecosts involved, and the inherent properties of the ma
