Scope1.1 The thermophysical property tables for isobutane are foruse in the calculation of the pressure-volume-temperature(PVT), thermodynamic, and t
3、ransport properties of isobutanefor process design and operations. Tables are provided forgaseous and liquid isobutane at temperatures between 120 and570 K at pressures to 20 MPa. One table provides properties atthe conditions of liquid-vapor equilibrium (saturation proper-ties). The other table pro
4、vides properties at selected T, p pointsfor the equilibrium phase at those conditions. The tables weredeveloped by the National Institute of Standards and Technol-ogy from a Standard Reference Database product REFPROP,version 8.0.1.2 The values stated in SI units are to be regarded asstandard. No ot
5、her units of measurement are included in thisstandard.2. Applicability2.1 These tables apply directly only to pure gaseous isobu-tane. However, it is expected that they may find substantial usein mathematical models and tables for the thermophysicalproperties of mixtures containing isobutane.3. Tabl

7、oll-1)H, molar enthalpy (Jmol-1)S, molar entropy (JK-1mol-1)Cv, constant volume molar heat capacity (JK-1mol-1)Cp, constant pressure molar heat capacity (JK-1mol-1)c, speed of sound (ms-1)h, viscosity (Pas)l, thermal conductivity (mWm-1K-1)3.3 These tables were produced by equations from a com-puter
8、 package, “NIST Standard Reference Database 23; Ref-erence Fluid Thermodynamic and Transport Properties Data-base (REFPROP): Version =8.0” A wide selection of units (SIunits, engineering units, chemical units) is available with thisprogram.24. Additional Information4.1 Reference state properties are
9、 required to calculatecertain of the thermodynamic properties (enthalpy, entropy,etc.) from an equation of state formulation. The reference stateproperties used to generate the tables in this specification are:enthalpy, H, and entropy, S, at 298.15 K and 0.101325 MPa(H = 17932.6 J/mol and S = 295.39
10、0 J/(mol K). The molarmass of isobutane is 58.122 g/mol.5.
