Scope1.1 This specification cove

3、rs asphalt cements graded byviscosity at 60C 140F for use in pavement construction.Three sets of limits are offered in this specification. Thepurchaser shall specify the applicable table of limits. In theevent the purchaser does not specify limits, Table 1 shall apply.For asphalt cements graded by p

4、enetration at 25C 77F. SeeSpecification D946. If needed, volume corrections for asphaltcements should be made according to Practice D4311.1.2 The values stated in either SI units or inch-pound unitsare to be regarded separately as standard. The values stated ineach system may not be exact equivalent

5、s; therefore, eachsystem shall be used independently of the other. Combiningvalues from the two systems may result in non-conformancewith the standard.2.
