1、Designation: B 872 06Standard Specification forPrecipitation-Hardening Nickel Alloys Plate, Sheet, andStrip1This standard is issued under the fixed designation B 872; the number immediately following the designation indicates the year oforiginal adoption or, in the case of revision, the year of last
2、 revision. A number in parentheses indicates the year of last reapproval. Asuperscript epsilon (e) indicates an editorial change since the last revision or reapproval.1. Scope1.1 This specification covers rolled precipitation hardenablenickel-iron-chromium-columbium (Nb)-titanium-aluminum al-loy (N0
3、9908) plate, sheet, and strip in the annealed condition(temper). This alloy is used as sheathing for super conductorcables, as tooling for fabrication of such cables, and for otherapplications requiring a material with low coefficient-of-expansion properties.1.2 The values stated in inch-pound units
4、 are to be regardedas the standard. The values given in parentheses are forinformation only.1.3 This standard does not purport to address all of thesafety concerns, if any, associated with its use. It is theresponsibility of the user of this standard to become familiarwith all hazards including thos
