Terminology3.1 Definitions of Terms Specific to This Standard:3.1.1 The terms plate, sheet, and strip as used in thisspecification are defined as follows:3.1.2 cold rolled plate, nmaterial316 to38 in. General Requirements4.1 Material furnished under this specification shall con-form to the requirements

9、of Specification B906 unless other-wise provided herein. In the case of conflict, the requirementsof this specification shall take precedence.5. Materials and Manufacture5.1 Heat TreatmentUNS N08020 Alloy shall be furnishedin the stabilize-annealed condition.NOTE 1The recommended annealing temperatu

10、res are 1800 to 1850F(982 to 1010C) for UNS N08020.6. Chemical Composition6.1 The material shall conform to the composition limitsspecified in Table 1.7. Corrosion TestsS1.1 One intergranular c

15、orrosion test per lot shall be per-formed by the manufacturer on a sensitized specimen andtested in accordance with Practices A262. When this supple-mentary requirement is specified, the specific practice (PracticeB or Practice E) shall also be specified. If Practice B isspecified, the specimen must

16、 pass with a rate of less than 0.002inches per month. A lot for intergranular corrosion testing shallbe the same as for mechanical testing.S1.1.1 In addition to the anneal recommended in Note 1, thespecimen shall be sensitized for1hat1250F (677C) beforebeing subjected to corrosion testing.S1.1.2 If
