3、is specification covers aluminum-alloy (Note 1) dieforgings, hand forgings, and rolled ring forgings as shown inTable 2, Table 3 and Table 4 and in Section 10 for heat-treatable alloy forgings supplied in the F and 01 tempers. Themaximum thicknesses for forgings within the scope of thisspecification
4、 are as indicated in those tables.NOTE 1Throughout this specification use of the term alloy in thegeneral sense includes aluminum as well as aluminum alloy.NOTE 2For forging stock supplied as rolled or cold-finished bar orrod see Specification B 211M. For forging stock supplied as extruded baror rod
5、 see Specification B 221M.1.2 Alloy and temper designations are in accordance withANSI H35.1M. The equivalent Unified Numbering Systemalloy designations are those of Table 1 preceded by A9, forexample, A91100 for aluminum 1100 in accordance withPractice E 527.1.3 For acceptance criteria for inclusio
