It is published on green paper for the needs of AECMA-Members. It has been technically approved

4、 by the experts of the concerned AECMA Commission following comment by the Member countries. Subsequent to the publication of this pre-standard the technical content shall not be changed to an extent that interchangeability is affected, physically or functionally, without re-identification of the st

8、sification : 1100 MPn/650 OC. 3 Swaging of the nuts The swaging of the nuts is obtained by flaring the end of the serrated shank crf the nut with a 60 inclusive tapered punch. The approximative load necessary for the swaging operation is 15000 N. The punch must be aligned with the axis of the nut in

9、 order to prevent creating overstresses or cracks on the fiared shank. During this operation the punch must not rotate. The dimensions and tolerances of the punch and the anvil to be used are shown by the Figure 1 and the table hereafter. These tools are suitable for both shapes of nuts. R - 3oogE P

12、larity defect af the assembled nut will be in accordance with figure 2.
