2、NAVAL SHIPBOARD This amendment forms a part d Military Speci- fication MIL-D-l9645A(SHIPS), 16 December 1957. Page 1, paragraph 2.1: Add the following specification: MILITARY TAIL-& 9858 - Quality Control System Requirements“ FEDERAL tQQ-W-423 - Wire, Steel, Corrosion-Resisting. It Page 2, paragraph

3、 2.1: Delete “NAVY DEPARTMENT General Specifications for Inspection af Material. Page 3, paragraph 3.1.1, second sentence : Delete and substitute “Where corrosion-resisting steel is specified, it shall conform to class FS302 or FS3M of Specification QQ-S-763, QQ-S-766 or QQ-W-423, as applicable. Cor

4、rosion resistant steel conforming to Specification QQ-S-763 or QQ-S-766 where exposed in final assembly shall have a number 4 or 6 finish. I Page 4, paragraph 3.3.3, last two sentences: Delete and substitute “Cabinet dimensions shall be as follow s : Length - 5 feet 6 inches (including condensing un

5、it section). Width - 26 inches (excluding doors and removable hardware). Height - 36 inches (including legs).“ Page 4, paragraph 3.3.4: Delete. Page 4, paragraph 3.7, first and second sentences: Delete and substitute “A liquid receiver shall be provided and shall have an internal volume at least 25

Except as otherwise specified, the supplier may utilize his own facilities or any commercial laboratory accept

The Government reserves the right to perform any of the inspections set forth in the specification where such inspections are deemed necessary to assure supplies and services conform to pre- scribed requirements. 4.6.1 Quality control system. - The supplier shall provide and

8、maintain a quality control system - - acceptable to the Government. The system of quality control shall be in accordance with MIL-Q-9858.and as specified in 4.6.1.1 through 4.6.1.4. The supplier is in no way relieved of the final responsibility to furnish display cases meeting the requirements of th

9、is specification. I 4.6.1.1 Description of procedures. - Procedures shali be assembled in manual form and shall indicate organization and responsibility for the control of quality. appropriately located points in the manufacturing process, beginning with the receipt of raw materials and subcontracte

10、d parts through fabrication, assembly, testing and preparation for shipment of completed units, to assure continuous control of quality of parts, components, assemblies, and construction including weld- ing and fabrication. 4.6.1.2 Inspection during manufacture. - The supplier shall establish and ma

11、intain inspection at 4.6.1.3 All instruments used in performance acceptance tests shall be calibrated before and after . -.- . , tests. . - . . ,- 4.6.1.4 No instruments containing mercury shall be used in the manufacture or testing of any equip- . ment destined for installation on a nuclear powered

12、 ship. This point shall be covered in the manufacturers quality control manual. Test reports shall contain a certification signed by a responsible official of the manufacturer that no mercury containing instruments have been used in the manufacture or testing of the equipment.
