CLASSIFICATION 1.1 Classification. The fair linen shall be of t

2、he size/type specified. 2. SALIENT CHARACTERISTICS 2.1 Materials. The fair linen shall be fabricated of linen cloth having a minimum weight of 4.5 ounces per square yard and a minimum total of 104 yarns per inch (warp and filling). The cloth shall be bleached white. 3. QUALITY ASSURANCE 3.1 Certific

3、ation. The contractor shall certify that the product offered meets the salient characteristics of this description, conforms to the producers own drawings, specifications, standards, and quality assurance practices, and is the same as the product offered for sale in the commercial marketplace. When

4、. specific quality assurance provisions are specified for .any commercial charac- teristic, the contractor shall furnish data resulting from inspection conducted in accordance with the specific quality assurance provisions. The Government reserves the right to require proof of such conformance prior

5、 to first delivery and thereafter as may be otherwise provided for under the provisions of the contract. 4. PACKAGING 4.1 Packaging. board pad. Forty fair linens, of one size only, packaged as specified, shall be packed in a snug-fitting

7、RSC-L style fiberboard shipping container conorming to type CF (variety SW) or SF, class domestic, grade 200 of PPP-3-636. The inside of each Container shall be fitted with a b6X liner conforming to class domestic, variety DW, grade 275 of PPP-B-636. The shipping container shall be completely filled

8、 with no voids and of a size that can be palletized in accord- ance with MIL-STD-147. Each shipping container shall be closed in accordance with the appendix of PPP-B-636. 4.3 Palletization. When specified (see 5.2), fair linen shall Ise pailetized on a 4-way entry pallet in accordance with load typ
