Scope1.1 This specification covers lap cement consisting of as-phalt dissolved in a volatile petroleum solvent

3、with or withoutmineral or other stabilizers, or both, for use with roll roofing.The fibered version of these cements excludes the use ofasbestos fibers.1.2 The values stated in either SI units or inch-pound unitsare to be regarded separately as standard. The values stated ineach system may not be ex

4、act equivalents; therefore, eachsystem shall be used independently of the other. Combiningvalues from the two systems may result in non-conformancewith the standard.1.3 The following precautionary caveat applies only to thetest method portion, Section 5, of this specification. Thisstandard does not

5、purport to address all of the safety concerns,if any, associated with its use. Inspection7.1 I

10、nspection of the material shall be as agreed uponbetween the purchaser and the supplier as part of the purchasecontract.8. Rejection and Resubmittal8.1 Failure to conform to any of the requirements prescribedin this specification may constitute grounds for rejection. In thecase of rejection, the sel

11、ler shall have the right to reinspect therejected material and resubmit the lot after removal of thosepackages not conforming to the requirements.9. Packaging and Package Marking9.1 All products shall be packaged and labeled in accor-dance with applicable regulations. Each package shall bemarked to
