3、e(教学情景导入)Last lesson we learnt a form of poem, Limerick. It has some rules. For example: It has five lines. It was created by an American poet. Each line has a set number of words and so on. You must say it in five.Teaching steps(教学过程设计)Step 1. Warming up: Chinese old poems follow a pattern. Lets en

Come to “THINK ABOUT IT”.We all know Chinese poetry has different kinds of patterns. Let the students give some exam

6、ples. Then ask them if they know the five-line poems.Step 3. Learning new words of the text.New words2. 7、. 诗人liquid n. 液体noun n. 名词Step 4. Listening tasks: Listen to the tape with the following questions. Who created the five-line poem? An American poet. How many poems does the text show us? Three.Step 5. Reading tasks: Read the text and answer the questions. Today we learn a pattern of French poetry.

8、The second line has three words. The topic of the poem is a noun.Step 6. Explain the language points to the class.1. This kind of poem was created in the nineteenth century by an American poet. 3这首诗是一位美国诗人于十九世纪独创的。 create v.创造，创作；创作，作品 Ba Jin created a lot of works in his life. 巴金一生创作了大量的作品。 This po

9、em pattern was created in last century by the poet. 这种诗体是由这位诗人在上世纪创立的。 The artists creations are over the world. 这位画家的作品遍布世界各地。 In the nineteenth century 在十九世纪。也可以写作 in the 1800s,表示几世纪时，用 in the +序数词+century 或 in the +数字 s” The old man was born in the 1960s.这位老人出生于二十世纪六十年代。2. Each line has a set num

10、ber of words. 每行都有一定数量的词。 a set number of一定数量的，固定数量的 a number of许多的，大量的，后跟复数名词，其谓语用复数。 the number of 的数目，后跟复数名词，其谓语用单数。3. It is always about a single topic. 他通常只有一个主题。 single adj. 1)单个的，只有一个地（作定语） a/one single+单数名词=only one+单数名词 The letter was written on a single sheet of paper. 这封信只用一张纸写成。 There is

11、 a single table (only one table) in the room. 房间里只有一张桌子。 2)单身的，未婚的 He remains single all his life. 他一生独身。 3)单程的，与 return相对 a single ticket=a one-way ticket单程票; a return ticket 来回票4. Lets look at another two poems as examples. 我们再拿两首诗为例。another+数词+名词数词+more+名词,意为“再来”。another two poems也可表示为 two more p

12、oems.5. In one word, state the topic of your poem. 用一个词说明诗歌的主题。1）in one/a word 此处意为“用一个词”，其也可用作固定短语，意为“总之，一句话”。In a word, I trust him. 总之，我信任他。2）表达“用”，英语用不同的介词。in 表示“用语言”，with 表示“用工具、手段等”，by表示“用方式等”。Write the letter in English. 用英语写这封信。Step 7.Come to “LETS DO IT”.Finish all the exercise on Page 53.
