2、. 1. SCOPE 1.1 Scope, This specification establishes the requirements for the 1.2 Classification. The Rocket Motor Mark 25 will consist of the Rocket Motor .Mark 25 Mods O, 1 , and 2 (see 6.1). following Mods: Mod Q - 30“ Canted nozzle Mod 1 - 15“ Canted nozzle Mod 2 - O“ Canted nozzle 2. APPLICABLE
3、 DOCUMENTS 2.1 Government documents. 2.1.1 Specifications, standards, and handbooks. Unless otherwise specified, the following specifications, standards, and handbooks of the issue listed in that issueof the Department of Defense Index of Speci- fications and Standards (DoDISS) specified-in the soli
4、citation form a part of this specification to the extent specified herein. After completion of temperature cycling, each motor in Group III shall be radio- graphic inspected in accordance with MIL-STD-453. 4.4.2.2.3 Shock. Each unit shall be conditioned to -40F for 48 hours minimum. to the axi

Each unit shall be conditioned in a chamber controlled at -40F for 48 hours minimum, then transferred to a chamber controlled at 150F for 2 hours. The
11、 unit shall then be fired in accordance with 4.3 within 20 minutes from the time of removal from the temperature .conditioning chamber. 4.4.2.3 Group IV. 4.4.2.3.1 Endurance vjbration. Each unit in Group IV shal-1 be conditioned at 105F and vibrated at 150F with a nominal frequency of 30 cps and a n
12、ominal acceleration of 1 g for 24 hours. Each unit shall then be condi- tioned at -40F and vibrated at -4OOF at the most significant resonant frequency as determined in 4.4.2.1 for 24 hours at a nominal acceleration of 5 g. After completion of endurance vibratiori each motor in Group IV shall be rad
13、iographic inspected in accordance with MIL-STD-453. 4.4.2.3.2 Temperature cycling, Each unit in Group III shall be temper- ature cycled from 150“ to -40F for three complete cycles. The motors shall be maintained in each successive temperature environment for a minimum of 48 hours. After completion o
14、f temperature cycling, each motor in Group IV shall be radiographic inspected in accordance with MIL-STD-453. The time of transfer between temperature conditioning rooms shall not exceed 10 mi nutes. 4.4.2.3.3 Shock. Each unit shall be conditioned to 150F for 48 hours minimum, Each unit shall then b
15、e subjected to accelerations of 12 g normal tothe axis and 30 g along the axis. Each acceleration shall consist of one-half sine wave form with a duration of 15 k 5 milliseconds. After completion of shock tests, each motor in Group IV shall be radiographic inspected in accordance with MIL-STD-453. 4
16、.42.3.4 Temperature gradient firing. Each unit shall be conditioned in a chamber cotitrolled at 150F for 48 hours minimum, then transferred to a chamber controlled at -40F for 2 hours. The unit shall then be fired in accordance with 4.3 within 20 minutes from the time of removai from the temperature
17、 conditioning chamber. 4.4;3 Accelerated aging tests. Eight units shall be selected at random from the preproduction lot and divided into two groups of four motors each, designated Group V and Group VI. T.he units in Group V shall be stored at -90F for 30 days. inspected in-accordance with MIL-STD-4
