STDmITU-T RECMN X-262-ENGL 1997 4862593 0645552 572 ITU-T RECOMMENDATION X.161 DEFINITION OF CUSTOMER NETWORK MANAGEMENT SERVICES FOR PUBLIC DATA NETWORKS Summary This Recommendation defines the management services
8、 which may be provided to a customer and collectively described as Customer Network Management (CNM). CNM is a service which provides customers with the ability to access (and in some cases modi) management information relating to the services provided to them by the network. Source ITU-T Recommenda
9、tion X.161 was revised by ITU-T Study Group 7 (1997-2000) and was approved under the WTSC Resolution No. 1 procedure on the 9th of August 1997. 10、ations Specialized Agency in the field of telecommuni- cations. The ITLJ Telecommunication standardization Sector (IT-T) is a permanent organ of the ITU. The IT-T is responsible for studying technical, operating and tariff questions and issuing Recommendations on them with a view to standardizing te
11、lecommunications on a worldwide basis. The World Telecommunication Standardization Conference (WTSC), which meets every four years, establishes the topics for study by the ITU-T Study Groups which, in their turn, produce Recommendations on these topics. The approval of Recommendations by the Members
12、 of the ITU-T is covered by the procedure laid down in WTSC Resolution No. 1. . in some areas of information technology which fall within ITU-Ts purview, the necessary standards are prepared on a collaborative basis with IS0 and IEC. NOTE In this Recommendation, the expression “Administration“ is us
13、ed for conciseness to indicate both a telecommunication administration and a recognized operating agency.
