ITU-T X.1243 (2010)/Cor.1 (01/2014) FOREWORD The International Telecommunication Union (ITU) is the United Nations specialized agency in the field of telecommunications, information and communication technologies (ICTs). The ITU Telecommunication Standardization Sector (ITU-T) is a p

11、ermanent organ of ITU. ITU-T is responsible for studying technical, operating and tariff questions and issuing Recommendations on them with a view to standardizing telecommunications on a worldwide basis. The World Telecommunication Standardization Assembly (WTSA), which meets every four years, esta

12、blishes the topics for study by the ITU-T study groups which, in turn, produce Recommendations on these topics. The approval of ITU-T Recommendations is covered by the procedure laid down in WTSA Resolution 1. In some areas of information technology which fall within ITU-Ts purview, the necessary st

13、andards are prepared on a collaborative basis with ISO and IEC. NOTE In this Recommendation, the expression “Administration“ is used for conciseness to indicate both a telecommunication administration and a recognized operating agency. Compliance with this Recommendation is voluntary. However, the R

14、ecommendation may contain certain mandatory provisions (to ensure, e.g., interoperability or applicability) and compliance with the Recommendation is achieved when all of these mandatory provisions are met. The words “shall“ or some other obligatory language such as “must“ and the negative equivalen

19、ed parameter filter (WPF) Modify the clause to read: The weighted parameter filter (WPF) is used to detect spam by analysing multi-parameters. The parameters are based on statistical information which includes the number of e-mail sessions, the number of destination servers, the number of e-mail tri

20、als, the period of sending e-mails, the rate of sending e-mails, the rate of trial e-mails and successful e-mails, and so on. Each parameter has a configured threshold and a configured weight value. Moreover, a whole set of weighted values, which may be based on the results of several experiments co

21、mpleted in advance, is needed. For each user, all parameters in the rules will be checked. The weights of the parameters that pass the configured threshold will be added. If the sum of the weights is beyond the predefined threshold, the WPF will distinguish spam-generating users from normal users. P
