The results recorded during the tests shall be analyzed and included in the test report per the referenced procedure or Subsystem Technical Specification (SSTS). 3.6 Safety. This standard may involve hazardous materials, operations, and equipment.
10、 This standard does not propose to address all the safety problems associated with its use. It is the responsibility of the user of this standard to establish appropriate safety and health practices and determine the applicability of regulatory limitations prior to use. 3.7 Documentation. Samples of
11、 components or material released to this standard shall be tested for conformity with the requirements of this standard and approved by the responsible GM Department prior to the start of delivery of production level components or materials. Any change to the component or material, e.g., design, fun
12、ction, properties, manufacturing process and/or location of manufacture requires a new release of the product. It is the sole responsibility of the supplier to provide the customer, unsolicited, with documentation of any change or modification to the product/process, and to apply for a new release.
13、If not otherwise agreed to, the entire verification test shall be repeated and documented by the supplier prior to start of delivery of the modified or changed product. In some cases, a shorter test can be agreed to between the responsible GM department and the supplier. 3.7.1 Test Results. As defin

The levers shall be securely fastened to the valves. The pull-off force shall be 200 N (minimum) and 500 N (maximum
16、) if press forced levers are used. In the case of positive coupled levers, easy assembly and disassembly shall be guaranteed. There is no play permissible between lever and axis. 4.4 Play at Bearings. The movement at the levers shall not exceed 0.5 mm at the point of force application when valves ar
17、e locked (temperature and mode valves). This shall be measured in plane of actuation with an effort of 5 N in both directions. 4.5 Water Drainage, Condensate. It shall be guaranteed that condensate can drain from the climate unit, if the vehicle is tilted 28 cm (11 in) in a longitudinal and/or trans
18、verse direction. Condensate shall not be trapped within the case. 4.6 Water Carryover. No water (drops, fog, steam, or mist) shall escape from the air outlets when the blower is operated at high speed. When the vehicle is tilted 15 in any direction, no condensate shall escape from the air conditioni

On the outside of components of heating and air conditioning units, no condensate build-up is permitted at (30 1) C and (80 1)% relative humidity. The test is in accordance with GMW3052. 4.8 Functional Test. 4.8.1 Heating Performance and A
20、ir Outlet Temperature. The measurements shall be performed on an assembled Heating unit or HVAC unit under the test conditions in Table 1. The temperature door/valve will be closed by the control head. A closing effort of 5 N (maximum) is to be input at the control head (no permanent load at control
21、 head). Requirements for heater performance or air outlet temperature are in drawings or SSTS documents.
