SCOPE The materials defined by this specification are bulked continuous filament (BCF) nylon, cut pile carpets, tufted into a synthetic primary foundation. 2. APPLICATION This material was originally release

3、d for F150 and Lincoln floors. 3. REQUIREMENTS 3.1 APPROVED SOURCES This specification requires the use of approved sources. Only the sources identified on the Ford Approved Source List (ASL) can be used when this specification is listed on the drawing, CAD file, or other documents. The list of appr

4、oved sources is located within Ford at or available externally through a Ford Materials Engineer. 3.2 CONDITIONING AND TEST CONDITIONS All test values are based on material conditioned for not less than 24 h prior to testing in a controlled environment of 23 +/- 2 C and 50 +/- 5% relative humidity.

5、 Testing of the material should occur in the conditioning environment or soon after removal. 3.3 PERFORMANCE CRITERIA 3.3.1 Vehicle Interior Environment Quality Materials/Component Performance Requirements Materials used in interior applications must meet the requirements outlined in WSS-M99P2222-D1

6、/ latest. Test data must to be provided by the Tier 1 at the appropriate program milestone. 3.3.2 In addition to the requirements listed herein, the end-item mat assembly shall be tested to WSS-M8P16-B and any additional SDS requirements. 7、hall be documented in the supplement attached and uploaded into the or scanned data package 3.4 SAMPLE SELECTION All evaluations shall be conducted on test specimens taken from finished roll goods prior to any subsequent operations, such as reheating or molding. 3.5 APPEARANCE ENGINEERING MATERIAL S

Contact for questions concerning Engineering Material Specifications. 4.1 DRAWING CALL OUT The following shall be called out o

16、n the Engineering drawing to correctly designate the approved material. WSS-M3H151-B1 Or WSS-M3H151-B2 Supplier Name and Product Code WSS-M8P16-B 4.2 APPROVAL OF MATERIALS Suppliers desiring approval of their materials shall first obtain an expression of interest from Purchasing, Design or Product D

17、evelopment, and Materials Engineering. The supplier shall submit a completed copy of their laboratory test reports, signed by a qualified and authorized representative of the test facility, demonstrating full compliance with all the requirements of the Material Specification. Tested material samples

18、 must be available for review upon request and kept for a minimum of one year. Upon request, the supplier will review the associated quality control documents (Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis, Control Plans, Certification testing) with Ford. 4.3 SUPPLIERS ONGOING RESPONSIBILITY All materia

19、ls must be equivalent in all characteristics to the material upon which approval was originally granted. 20、changes affect the materials ability to meet the specification requirements, the supplier shall notify the affected Supplier Technical Assistance (STA), Purchasing, and Materials Engineering activities of the proposed changes (with reasons) by submission of a completed Suppliers Request for Engineer

21、ing Approval, SREA. For parts and components using Ford Engineering Material Specifications, all samples tested to the specifications for Design Verification (DV), Production Verification (PV) and Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) sign off must be kept until Job 1. 4.4 RESTRICTED SUBSTANCE MAN

22、AGEMENT STANDARD Substance restrictions imposed by regulations or Company direction applies to the materials addressed by this document. The restrictions are identified in the Restricted Substance Management Standard WSS-M99P9999-A1 which is updated yearly. It is the suppliers responsibility to comp
