11、 tusk or role of the equipment to be purchased, e.g. whether it .is part of a nao power gmting plant, a modvication to an existing power genemting plant or repucernent equipment. where appropriate, the specmation should define the function and the known limitations, if any, in the equipment connecte

12、d to that which .is being supplied so that the equipment may avoid imposing adverse conditions or the supplier my suggest mdifkatiom to connected equipment which would ensure satiyfactory operation. 4.4 Equipment to be purchased The specification may define the equipment type m arrangernent to be pu

13、rchased. For example the purchaser may specisr: a) the turbine type, e.g. reheat or non-reheat; b) method of load variation, e.g. constant pressure or sliding pressure operation. The specification may - control safe and protection system); - lubricating system(s); - rotor bearings; - g-; - couplings

14、; - mounting system(s); - enclosures and ventilation system; - driven equipment; - pumps. E.3 Description of maintenance operations The supplier should clearly describe the amount of dismantling required for each operation except when this is done at the manufacturers works, for example: - inspectio

15、n of turbine blading; - inspection of major shafts and discs including blade attachments. E.4 Location of maintenance operations The supplier should state where maintenance operations on major integral components will be performed, for example: - in position in the unic - in the manufacturers shop;

16、- at the site of installation; - at a repair centre. If operations are to be performed at a repair centre, the supplier should state if exchange or lease components are offered E.6 Operation and maintenance training requirements The supplier, if requested, should provide information on training faci

17、lities for the users operation and maintenance personnel. E.6 Maintenance drawings Maintenance manuals and drawings should be prepared in accordance with a “recognized engineering drawing practice“.
