Timesshallbemeasuredusingaclockcapableofrecordingaminimumof576h(24days).EN123654:2003(E) 6 6.2 Testsamples 6.2.1General Whereverpossible,thetimebetweenformingandtestingshallnotexceed3months.Everycareshall betakentoensurethatsamplesarriveattheTes

32、ethod 7.1General Inthismethod,testpiecesaresubjectedtothesamemaximumworkingtemperatureastheywouldin service,tosimulateacceleratedageing.Twoormoretestpiecesshallbeusedineachtest. 7.2 Temperatureandhumidity Thestandardlaboratorytemperatureshallbeeither23Cor25C,inaccordancewithnational practice.Thestan

33、dardlaboratoryhumidityshallbe45%relativehumidityat23Cor55%relative humidityat25C.EN123654:2003(E) 7 7.3 Determinationoffreeheight Measurethemaximumfreeheightofthetestpiece,perpendiculartothecompressingsurface, relativetoaconvenientdatum,toalimitdeviationof0,05mm,beforecommencingthetest.Dueto possibl

34、enoncircularinaccuracy,thisshallbedeterminedbymeasuringtheoutsidediameterthree timesatdifferentpositionsalongthelength.Thiscaneitherbedonebeforemountingthetestpiece onthetestblock,orpriortofittingthecompressionplate. Theaveragefreeheight(a)shallbecalculatedandrecorded. NOTE1 Suitablenoncontactmeasur

35、ingequipmentincludesashadowgraph,alaserlightbeamdeviceora travellingmicroscope. Testpiecesshallbelabelledandmarkedtoindicatethepartofthesurfacewhichisuppermost.
