This second edition cancels and replaces the first edition (IS0 262:1973) which has been technically revised. 1 Scope This International Standard specifies selected sizes for screws, bolts and nuts in the diameter range

12、 from 1 mm to 64 mm of IS0 general purpose metric screw threads (M) having basic profile according to IS0 68-1. These selected sizes are recommended also for general engineering use.
