5、“Machinery intended for use with foodstuffs and feed” (Secretariat: DIN, Germany). The responsible German body involved in its preparation was DIN-Normenausschuss Maschinenbau (DIN Standards Committee Mechanical Engineering), Working Committee NA 060-18-02 AA Fleisch-verarbeitungsmaschinen of Sectio
6、n Nahrungsmittel- und Verpackungsmaschinen. Representatives of manufacturers and users of food processing machinery, and of the employers liability insurance associations contributed to this standard. This standard contains specifications giving detail to the essential requirements set out in Annex
7、I of the “Machinery Directive”, Directive 2006/42/EC, and which apply to machines that are either first placed on the market or commissioned within the EEA. This standard serves to facilitate proof of compliance with the essential requirements of that directive. Once this standard is cited in the Of
8、ficial Journal of the European Union, it is deemed a “harmonized” standard and thus, a manufacturer applying this standard may assume compliance with the require-ments of the Machinery Directive (“presumption of conformity”). The European Standards referred to in Clause 2 and in the Bibliography of
9、the EN have been published as the corresponding DIN EN or DIN EN ISO Standards with the same number. Where the International Standards referred to are not also DIN ISO Standards with the same number, there are no national standards available. Amendments This standard differs from DIN EN 13870:2011-0
10、2 as follows: a) Clause 1: types of machines have been adapted to the current state of the art; pictures of the types of machines have been renewed; automatic industrial slicing machines have been excluded; b) Clause 3: some definitions and use of this wording in the document have been clarified; c)
11、 Clause 4: the information has been transferred to a table; d) automatic loading has been included; e) the description of the requirements for protective equipment has been improved; f) the description of risk areas, such as inlet tunnel (including dimension table) has been improved; g) new componen
12、ts, such as pusher and rocker, have been added.
