Foreword This Supplement has been prepared by the Normenausschuss Mechanische Verbindungselemente (FMV) (Fasteners Standards Committee). This Supplement provides information on the

5、 current status of European standardization relating to fasteners. It contains four tables covering EN Standards, classified according to subject area, including the DIN, DIN EN and DIN ISO Standards which they have replaced (Table 1), a list of published DIN EN Standards (Table 2) and DIN ISO Stand

6、ards which have been given the status of a European Standard (Table 3), arranged in numerical order, and a list of DIN and DIN ISO Standards withdrawn in connection with the adoption of EN Standards, arranged in numerical order (Table 4). NOTE Some European Standards that are identical with ISO Stan

7、dards have had their standard identifier (number) changed. This is due to a change in the rules governing the numbering of such European Standards. EXAMPLE In 1991, the standard ISO 4014 was adopted as European Standard EN 24014. After revision of ISO 4014, the European Standard, which was also revi

8、sed, was published with the new document identifier EN ISO 4014. To make the tables as clear and concise as possible, these do not specifically list as withdrawn EN Standards (or DIN EN Standards) superseded by succeeding editions. It is intended that the Supplement should be updated at relatively s

9、hort intervals, depending on the progress of European Standardization. Meaning of abbreviations EN Standard European Standard developed by CEN, the European Committee for Standardization.
