29、E) 6 4Requirements 4.1General Themachineshallbedesignedtoalloweasyhandlingandadjustmentsfordifferenttypesoffertilizerstobeused, inordertoensurethatthechosenamountoffertilizerperareaisspreadevenlyandintheareaatwhichitisaimed. Themachineshallfulfilatleasttherequirementsgivenin4.2upto4.14. NOTE Themanu

30、facturershouldalsotakeinconsiderationthatthemachinemayworkinacorrosiveenvironment. 4.2 Hopperfillingopening Themachineshallbedesignedtominimizetheriskthatundesirablematerialswillcauseblockagesandinfluence theflowrateortransversaldistributioninanegativeway.Thiscanforexamplebeachievedbyagrid. Hoppersw

31、ithavolumeequaltoorgreaterthan1000lshallbesoconstructedthatitispossibletofillthehopper withbulkfertilizerfromabucket,1,5mwideorfrombigbagsof1000kg. 4.3 Cleaningandemptyingofresiduals Emptyingandcollectingthefertilizerfromthehoppershallbepossiblewithoutspreadingordrillingandwithout unintentionalflowt

32、otheground.Iftoolsarenecessarytoemptythehopper,theyshallbedeliveredwiththe machineandaplaceshallbeprovidedonthemachinefortheirstorage. Itshallbepossibleforapersonstandingonthegroundorontheexistingaccessmeanstocleanthemachine. 4.4 Contactwithobstacles 4.4.1General Onaspreadinglinedistributorfittedwit

33、hboomswithaworkingwidthmorethan10m,theouterendoftheboom shallbeabletomovebackwardsincaseofcontactwithobstaclesinthefield.Ifthespreadingdistributorismoved forwardsat8km/handtheobstacleiswithin90%to100%ofhalftheboomwidthmeasuredfromthemiddleof thetrack,theboomorsectionsoftheboomshallbeabletogiveawaywi

34、thoutbeingdamaged(seeFigure1). Theworkingdepthofthecoultersshallbeadjustable. 4.5 Markersystem Combineddrillswiderthan4m,fordrillingfertilizerintothesoil,shallbeequippedwithamarkersyst

36、emwhich givesthepossibilitytochoosecorrectdistancetonexttramline. 4.6 Estimationofhoppervolume Thebasichopperofthemachine(e.g.thehopperwithoutanyextensionwalls),shallbefittedwithascaleinlitres bywhichthevolumeoffertilizerinthehoppercanbedetermined.Incaseofanadjustablepartitionwallofthe hopper(forexa

37、mpleincombineddrills),thehoppersshallbeequippedwithscalestoindicatetheactualvolume hopperwithdifferentadjustmentsateachpositionofthepartitionwall.Thescaleshallcoveratleast10%to80% ofthebasichoppervolumeandhaveagraduationforatleasteach10%ofthenominalvolumeofthebasic hopper.Theaccuracyofthegraduations

38、shallbewithin10%ofthereading.EN137401:2003(E) 8 4.7 Adjustmentofflowrate 4.7.1Machineswithahoppervolumeof600lormore,shalleitherbeequippedwith: relevantcalibrationaids(forexamplechute,guide,collector)toadjusttheflowrate;or asystemwhichcontrolstheflowrateautomatically(forexampleloadsensor,massflowcont

39、rol). 4.7.2 Ifthemachineisfittedwithamanuallycontrolledsystemwhichallowsavariationoftheflowrate,thenthis variationrangeshallbeatleast20%oftheintendedflowrate,notexceedingthelimitvaluesdefinedin4.14.2. 4.7.3 Itshallbepossibletomaketheadjustmentsteplessorinstepsofmaximum10%oftheintendedflowrate. 4.8 F
